Armand Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Engineer to support a major transportation infrastructure program. This position is responsible for coordinating project documentation, supporting project controls, facilitating communication among project stakeholders, and ensuring the timely processing of project records and technical documentation.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives to maintain project documentation, coordinate submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs), assist in reviewing technical documents, and support quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of construction processes, engineering documentation, and project coordination. Work Location & Schedule: The selected candidate will provide consulting services in New Jersey/New York, on-site and/or remotely, as directed by the client. The weekly work schedule and work arrangement will be determined based on project requirements and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of project documents, including plans, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain project records, logs, and documentation in an organized and efficient manner to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate communication, information flow, and project updates.
- Manage project submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders, ensuring timely responses and adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the review of design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify discrepancies, conflicts, and potential issues.
- Support project quality control processes, tracking non-conformances, and assisting in the resolution of construction-related queries.
- Collaborate with field personnel to ensure that office-based activities align with on-site construction activities and project milestones.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Previous experience in an engineering or construction office environment, preferably on infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of construction processes, project documentation, and office management practices.
