Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Document Control Specialist in all disciplines for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience working with railway and transit construction projects, as well as a Bachelor's degree in a field relating to Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.
This position will be full-time, on-site, and will report to our Newark, NJ location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure all record documents are coded, filed, and distributed in SharePoint and other PMIS solutions, eBuilder, PM Web, Oracle, Kahootz, etc..
- Providing support to project team members across all phases of the construction process, conduct stakeholder review follow up in 10 days.
- Identify Record documents; name/code, assign metadata and file accordingly.
- Updates procedures, processes, guidelines, distribution lists and workflows and creates documents as needed.
- Work with the Construction Administrator in reviewing and submitting contracts relating to contractor-client correspondence, insurance, contractor invoices, progress payments, and change orders.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Other related duties and tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Experience in handling large projects $500mil to $1 Bil.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineer, architecture or in a related field highly preferred.
- 5 or more years industry working experience in areas of project controls, project administration, document management.
- Experience with PMIS software, such as Asana, Trello, Wrike required; Other construction software experience, such as eBuilder, PM Web, Oracle, Kahootz preferred.
- High proficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative procedures.
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Valid drivers license may be required depending on site location.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
