Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction Risk Analyst for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of fulltime experience in performing risk analysis calculations in a construction setting, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Construction, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field .
This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop risk profiles through continuous project documents review, ensuring all information within the project risk register is accurate and timely.
- Provide in-depth cost analysis feedback and recommendations, including heat maps and risk informed estimates, to support informed project decision making.
- Work together with management team to create and enact effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Issue risk management reports and presentations to staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Participate in update meetings to relay and address project level risk summaries and a 60-day look ahead.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Other related duties and tasks as required
- At least 5 years of experience performing risk analysis calculations in a large-scale construction setting.
- ·Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Accounting, or related field required, advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools, with the ability to generate reports, risk registers, heat maps, analysis, and recommendations.
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
