Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 34 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Engineering Tech Aide-Scheduler for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.

The ideal candidate has 5 to 10 years of document management - Proven experience managing, filing, and securing engineering and confidential documentation. Demonstrated experience serving as a task leader for document control, including coordinating workflows, maintaining accuracy, and ensuring timely completion of document management activities. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.


Candidates selected for an interview will be required to submit digital verification of all U.S.-based licenses, certifications, and academic degrees prior to the interview. All submitted information will be handled in strict confidence and used exclusively for employment-related purposes, including client-mandated background checks and credential verification.

This position will be one-year full-time assignment, with potential hybrid schedule in Jersey City, New Jersey


Scope of Work / Responsibilities
  • Managing and filing all incoming and existing construction documents, ensuring proper organization, version control, and security.
  • Serving as the task leader for document control, overseeing the receipt, tracking, and distribution of all project documentation.
  • Utilizing Trimble (e-Builder) to manage all incoming design documents, including but not limited to, confidential and privileged construction drawings.
  • Logging and filing all construction documents and transferring finalized records to Document Control in accordance with established procedures.
  • Scheduling and coordinating document reviews among appropriate technical disciplines.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of all incoming and outgoing project documents and review activities.
  • Preparing regular reports summarizing TAAs received, review status, and pending actions.
  • Uploading review comments, memoranda, and other supporting materials to project management systems as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Associates/bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in records management, document control, and/or scheduling within an architectural, engineering, or construction-related environment.
  • Advanced Experience in procedures for handling, filing, and transfer of engineering and confidential documents.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and high professional standards.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability and willingness to learn and use various in-house and external platforms such as SharePoint and Trimble (e-Builder).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
