Compliance Assistant - Prevailing Wage and CUF Interviews - Hybrid
The ideal candidate has 2 years of fulltime experience in administrating diversity compliance software, particularly in the handling of wage reviews and Commercially Useful Function interviews , as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.
This position will be full-time, Hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
- Coordinate with the on-site construction financial team to oversee the administration and documentation of prevailing wages across various business enterprises,
- Utilize Commercially Useful Function interviews to evaluate whether a firm is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
- Assist in the administration of Diversity Compliance Software Systems for various large-scale civil construction projects, including contract procurement, employee training, and client presentations.
- Document and report all Prime and subcontractors’ payments, awards, certifications, and contract goal information to senior administrative staff.
- Resolve issues related to Prime Contractor and subcontractor utilization of the Diversity Compliance Software System.
- Participate in update meetings to relay and address the concerns of both contractors and subcontractors.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Other related duties and tasks as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, or related area required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the handling of wage reviews and Commercially Useful Function interviews, preferably in a government agency construction setting.
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
