Transit Grant Compliance Manager - Hybrid
Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction Grant Compliance Manager for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has 10 or more years of experience in grant analysis, compliance, and reimbursement for projects relating to construction, with at least 5 years in the administration of Full Funding Grant Agreements (FFGA) for a large transit agency, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field.
If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.
This position will be full-time, Hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of various business development and grant management related tasks (e.g. grant compliance, contract management, requests for information, bid orchestration, grant reimbursement requests) alongside members of the financial department.
- Work together with supervisors to oversee Federal Railway Administration and Federal Transportation Administration grant compliance and associated requirements across major civil construction projects.
- Respond to information requests from stakeholders and coordinate with teammates to address concerns and expectations effectively; ensure the successful delivery of the program in line with all stakeholders’ expectations.
- Participate in update meetings to relay and address client concerns.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Other related duties and tasks as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related required, advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of grant analysis and management experience, with at least 5 years in the administration of Full Funding Grant Agreements (FFGA) for a large transit agency.
- Prior experience with rail, tunnel, structural, station, or soil, is preferred.
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
