Reporting Manager - Civil and Railway Construction - Hybrid
Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Reporting Manager for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive experience in reporting of major capital works in the construction sector, as well as an Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.
This position will be full-time, Hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York City Metropolitan area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supports the development and implementation of the reports as directed by the Senior Reporting Manager and the Sector Director.
- Supports the development and implementation Standard operating procedures for the reporting aspects of the program as directed by the Senior Reporting Manager and the Sector Director.
- Provides guidance and support to the reporting specialists concerning day to day performance of the work scope.
- Supports the facilitation of forming partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Responsible for reporting among our team (including subcontractors).
- Responsible for external reporting, including all major contracts.
- Responsible for working closely with QIC and delivery partners to ensure best for program reporting decisions.
- Reports reporting challenges and issues to the Senior Reporting Manager and the Sector Director and helps to develop appropriate resolutions/mitigations as necessary.
- Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments as directed by the Senior Reporting Manager and the Sector Director.
- Other related duties and tasks as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related required, advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in reporting of major capital works in the construction sector.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as Power Bi Required.
- Ability to obtain security clearances, including SWAC, TWIC, and SIDA..
- Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
