Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of industry experience, is seeking a full-time Project Management Specialist with expertise in all aspects of the design process for general construction projects across NYC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Construction Project Management.

If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.

This position will be full-time, Hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Track budget utilization on the project
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for internal project management and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the tracking of contract utilization and spending.
  • Draft, edit, and update required state and federal reports relating to budget and funding.
  • Assist with preparing journals and required budget documentation to support maximum federal reimbursement of expenses.
  • Review, analyze, and receipt departmental invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Support the Senior Project Management Specialist in providing day-to-day counsel to project managers on all internal/external funding aspects that may affect the project.
  • Analyze project scope, budget, and cash flow projections to make recommendations relating to funding sources.
  • Perform reconciliations as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Knowledge of state/federal transportation policy Preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
